The Chinese Pregnancy chart is based on the lunar calendar. There are several sites which provide the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar and the calendar has a chart in which it contains the date and month in a lunar calendar. These dates represent the age of the mother at the time of conception, the month when the mother conceived, and there are boxes which are labeled as “B” for boy and “G” for girl.

The first step you should do is to take note of the age of the mother during the time of conception.

Second step is that you add nine months to the age of the mother to adjust the calendar.

Third step is to locate this result in the left-hand column in the calendar.

Fourth step is to locate the month when the baby was conceived across the top side of the calendar.

The last step is to follow these two coordinates and spot where they meet and intersect, then look for the corresponding box which is labeled as “B” for boy and “G” for girl.

Even though Chinese people claim that the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar is 99 percent accurate, we should remember that we can not completely say that it is very accurate. Now a days these calendars are just used for fun only. If you are very eager to know about your child’s gender it will be better to consult a doctor and do an ultrasound during the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy for an accurate result.
