By the thirty second week of pregnancy the weight of the baby becomes more than three and half pounds and its size is slightly less than seventeen inches. The baby’s fingernails and toenails get developed by this time. There is an increase of about fifty percent in the amount of blood that gets circulated in your body during the thirty second week of pregnancy as compared to the times when you were not pregnant. The increased amount of blood circulation in the body aids in the development of the fetus. From the thirty second week onwards women tend to gain around one pound on a weekly basis. It is necessary to give your body a lot of rest during this time. Due to shift in center of gravity many women experience pain in the lower back area. The size of the uterus during the thirty second week of pregnancy is around five inches.
Indigestion and breathlessness are some of the common problems which arise due to the increase in the size of the uterus. Constipation can trouble you during this time and in order to avoid it you should include fiber rich foods in your diet and consumption of sufficient amount of water would help a lot. It is better to gather knowledge about caesarean delivery so that you can mentally prepare yourself for the same if the situation demands the same. People who do not have adequate knowledge about caesarean delivery are often scared of the entire process which will only add to your woes during the time of delivery. For a caesarean delivery, an incision is made through the abdomen and the uterus. A caesarean delivery can be planned or they are performed if any complication occurs during the period of labor.
There are many reasons because of which doctors have to opt for caesarean delivery. When the labor does not progress normally due to the small size of the pelvis or a large baby then doctors have to choose caesarean delivery over the vaginal delivery. If the heart rate of the baby decreases during contractions, due to the compression of the umbilical cords, then cesarean delivery needs to be performed. When the baby has its feet in the birth canal instead of the head, even then cesarean delivery becomes a necessity. If the umbilical falls into the vagina then due to the compression of the umbilical cord then proper blood supply will not be available to the baby. In order to fix the situation, caesarean delivery is chosen by the doctors. The risks associated with the caesarean delivery for the newborn baby is pretty less. Although a condition called transient tachypnea might be experienced by the newborn baby for sometime. In this condition, the baby finds it difficult to breathe but this condition lasts for a very short time. After a cesarean delivery you need to stay in the hospital for at least two days. Vaginal bleeding and uterine cramping might prevail for sometime after caesarean delivery. If the vaginal bleeding gets heavy then the doctor should be contacted immediately.
