Screening test can help you detect cancer at early stage and hence immediate treatment should be given. Early signs and symptoms of cervical cancer can be detected through the screening test. If a female has never had screening test done, then it is a must for that woman to go for Pap smear test. Women, older than 30 years, are also advised to go for Pap smear test and screening tests to detect cervical cancer.
Screening test for Breast Cancer
Breast cancer contributes to the statistical record of death in America. Breast cancer can be detected through mammograms for women who are above the age of 40 years. It is also known as an imaging test that can detect lumps that are formed in the breast. Women, who are above 40 years, have more risk of being infected with breast cancer. Screen tests can help women know the status of the disease and give timely treatment. Screening test is also conducted to detect heart related diseases.
